Cherry Mahogany Flooring

A species that has a subtle red to blush undertone, Cherry Mahogany is gorgeous for flooring, and is a high density hardwood that shows  interesting gum vein features, which combined with its tight interlocking grain makes it a species that is well sought after. Growing in the coastal regions of New South Wales, Cherry Mahogany is a large Australian hardwood that grows to around 35 metres in height. It is a very durable and dense timber with a Janka rating of 12.00.
