The Hawthorn Bowls Club in Melbourne has renovated their buildings featuring timber.
The two storey building is clad with Blackbutt Shiplap timber and is contemporary in its design. The Ironbark timber posts are 200 x 200 mm square and are featured throughout the area, and are complement the contemporary shiplap cladding beautifully.
The Blackbutt cladding will grey off over time if it is not oiled each year or two, but the weathered look is also stunning. The use of the posts and the cladding updates the older building sympathetically and will look great in years to come.
