Grey Gum Flooring

Grey Gum is a lovely red to reddish brown colour and grows in the coastal districts from the Hawkesbury River in New South Wales to Maryborough in Queensland. Grey Gum – EUCALYPTUS PROPINQUA CALYPTUS PUNCTATA – is very durable and is ideally suited for flooring in both busy households and high commercial traffic areas.
The heartwood is red to red-brown, with sapwood being distinctively paler in colour. The grain is usually interlocked, and has a moderately coarse and even texture.
A beautiful dense and durable timber, perfect for flooring, decking and cladding with a Janka rating of 14.0. It is available in various widths.
