Northern Beech
Northern Beech blend of timbers grows in the coastal forests between Bega, NSW and Marybo
rough, QLD. It is a beautiful combination of highland timbers, carefully selected to create a unique colour that ranges from pale brown and golden hues to a light cream with a slightly pink tint. These tonal variations found in Northern Beech are one of its sought-after features. Janka hardness rating: 7.5
It is straw-brown in colour, sometimes displaying olive hues, with a similar look to Blackbutt but with gum vein and some pinholes. 
Stunning for Flooring and accepts stains well, it is available in wide boards up to 210mm.
A dense and durable timber with a Janka rating between 8.0 and 10.0, but best to use Blackbutt for outdoors.
