Recycled Messmate pre finished Engineered flooring has been sanded and polished in our factory – once the boards are laid the floor is ready for use. No dust, noise or having to wait for the floor to be sanded and polished on site. Also, you know with certainty the finised look of the floor.
Recycled Messmate pre finished flooring is very durable and an excellent use of a natural resource, having a high green star rating. It has a beautiful complexion with a lovely grain featuring interesting gum vein. This flooring extremely stable and is prefinished. Three colours are available: Black Ochre which has a black ochre rubbed into the timber, Brown is a mid to dark brown and Natural which is finished without a tint and so retains its natural colour.
The flooring is finished with a natural hard oil which is very hard wearing, but easy to repair any wear marks or damage to the floor. The boards can be laid as a “floating floor” over the sub floor, or can be glued and nailed if preferred. The floor is able to be used immediately once it has been laid as the timber is already sanded an finished. The Messmate layer is 3 mm thick over a high quality plywood and comes with a 5 year guarantee. It is very well priced considering that it requires no sanding or finishing.
