Salter Architects have designed this house and have used Blackbutt wide board decking as the cladding on this contemporary alpine residence. The battens are also Blackbutt and screen the harsh afternoon sun light without having to use blinds inside. The timber is beautiful and will ‘grey off’ in time.
All the timber in this project FSC certified from sustainably managed forests.
