Spotted Gum Flooring
Timber and Rose has stunning Spotted Gum flooring. It is a beautiful timber with a variation in colour from mid brown to caramel and to chocolate brown. Gum veins and wavy grain are quite common and are a feature in the look of a Spotted Gum floor.
Spotted Gum will readily accept a stain and polish and is an excellent choice for flooring, cladding, decking, lining, benchtops , battens and joinery. It provides excellent fire resistance as it is very dense and is one of seven hardwood timber species that was nominated to be suitable by the Building Commission in Victoria for construction in bushfire areas, provided it has a thickness greater than 18mm.
